Introduction: Al-Zahra Cultural Education Centre was founded in 1995 with a significant mission: to uplift the lives of refugee children in Iran through the transformative power of education. Our journey began with the aim of providing hope and knowledge to those who have faced immense hardships.

Educational Growth: We started by focusing on elementary education to create a safe environment for children, teenagers, and young adults. In 1997, we expanded to middle school, recognizing the importance of building a solid foundation for these resilient individuals. By 1999, with the addition of a high school, our commitment to empowering refugees deepened.

Expansion and Services: From 1995-2003, Al-Zahra Cultural Education Centre grew significantly, expanding to four branches across different areas of Tehran. By 2003, we had a dedicated team of 250 experienced and specialized personnel with diverse qualifications.

Educational Impact: Despite challenges, we continued to improve educational quality, serving over 10,000 students from 1995 to 2016. One school in Varamin remains a symbol of resilience, supporting the academic progress of 200 refugee children.

Diverse Educational Offerings: Our services encompass a range of classes and courses, from Quranic studies to computer training, English language courses, literacy classes for men and women, and kindergartens. We offer parenting courses, sewing, handicrafts, calligraphy, painting, music, sports, psychological workshops, and motivational sessions. Al-Zahra magazine and Daikandi women’s magazine promote culture and art.

Contributions to Society: We create a rich cultural and social atmosphere through cultural, artistic, and religious events. Gatherings for teachers, educators, and parents improve educational quality. Our events promote cultural and artistic values, fostering a harmonious blend among the immigrant community.
